I use them all the time for cooking, storing, defrosting, all sorts. I've used them on the hob, in the oven, in the microwave, the fridge, and the freezer. They look good on the table to serve food, and have a satisfying weight and feel, not too heavy. I'd recommend them any time! 21 of 21 people found the following review helpful PIROFLAM the most versatile Casserole Dishes you will ever own, By Sandi H (UK) - See all my reviews This review is from: Pyroflam Round Casseroles with Lids, Set of 3 (Kitchen & Home) I bought the Piroflam Casserole Dishes many years ago (when I got married nearly 18 years ago) and I use them every day, they are so versatile you can take them straight from the Freezer, cook on hob/oven/microwave then serve from them on the table then put them in the dishwasher. They have not been available for some years but I am going to buy this set of 3 Casserole Dishes - I have still got all mine but I have broken 1 lid (they are toughened glass but they don't survive being dropped on a tiled floor!). Just can't praise them enough. Only thing that I would say is that it would be nice to have them in different colours!
