Been using these sorts of items for about 10 years now, first bought one for use in the caravan but soon caught on at home in the kitchen. I am surprised that there are not more people using them. This one is made of clear plastic type material whereas the others were opaque and thicker material. We had one much bigger than this which had a basket with a fold down handle and a lid , you could cook all types of vegetables in it, try this ,halve and cook potatoes for about 15 minutes take out and coat with oil and stick in with the roast 30 minutes before the Sunday roast is cooked and you will have beautiful roast potatoes that are not burnt or stuck to the bottom of the roasting pan. Rice is a doddle, 1 cup of rice, add a drop of peanut oil and swish around, stops the rice sticking , add 1 and 1/2 cups of cold water , cook for around 10 minutes on a 900 watt microwave and you will have perfect rice, just vary the times for different power machines, if it dries out just add a little... Brillliant little product, received quickly and well packed. Have used several times with excellent results. Only downside, would have liked to see it in a different colour but I suppose then I couldn't see the rice etc. being cooked.
