Product Description

This hard anodised five-piece set is perfect cooking equipment for everyday use and includes a 26cm frying pan, a 16cm saucepan, an 18cm saucepan, a 20cm saucepan and a 14cm milk pan.

The hard anodised three mm gauge promises to be hard-wearing and offers an attractive finish. The riveted stainless steel handles with silicone grips ensure maximum grip and handling comfort.

Expert Cook pans have a non-stick interior coating which means there's no need to use oil. The saucepans feature vented glass lids.

Raised handles prevents the risk of burning hands and the pans are oven safe up to 250 degrees.

    I bought this set because I wanted non-stick pots and I didn't really need any more frying pans. This frying pan is larger than the ones I have and I've found it very useful. The non-sick pans are great and I found the handles easy to grip. My only downside is that I wanted dishwasher safe pans (as my husband does the dishes ie loads and empties the machine). When I bought this product the description says dishwasher safe but when I recieved the product there was a note saying these items are NOT dishwasher safe. I contacted Tefal who said that the interior non stick element is dishwasher safe but the exterior appearance will fade or become marked.

    I bought these with some reservation as I had my previous set for 20 years, and I loved them, but they had run there course. After much research I bought the Tefal Expert Cookware set, I liked the colour and the reviews were very good generally. I am so pleased I bought them, they are lovely to cook with and very easy to clean, I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher so no problems there. I was a chef for 12 years and didn't expect to get pots as good as those you might find in a restaurant kitchen, but they are great. I would highly recommend them.

    I specificaly brought this because the ad stated Dishwasher safe, when you open the box there is an message printed in red ink on a slip of paper warning that this range of cookware is not suitable for dishwashing.

    The Instruction leaflet included states "Tefal has developed a revolutionary new process called Hard Anodised which makes anodised pans dishwasher safe". I telephoned Tefal for clarification and was informed that they have developed a newer version of hard anodised that is dishwasher safe but unfortuantly this set is not even though it is Hard Anodised.

    Apart from that, it is a very nice set and excellent value.
